From an Pennsylvania estate, this is a vintage antiqued silvertone hinged bracelet. Features lily pad motif, with very three-dimensional. Bracelets of this style were usually designs of Whiting & Davis or Vogue, although this one is unsigned. Similar bracelet can be found on page 212 of Judith Miller's book Costume Jewelry. From an Pennsylvania estate, this is a vintage antiqued goldtone hinged bracelet. Features sections of engraved crosshatching, with applied floral and foliate motifs. Bracelets of this style were usually designs of Whiting & Davis or Vogue, although this one is unsigned. Similar bracelet can be found on page 212 of Judith Miller's book Costume Jewelry. From a local Eastern Shore estate, here is another one of my favorite bracelets. The previous owner worked for the United Nations years ago, and traveled extensively. This 1940s vintage bangle from India features turquoise chips inlayed in a matrix with brass backing. The bangle is signed INDIA inside. Quality construction, heavy weight, very good condition. I love to wear Bakelite bangles, and here is a wonderful olive colored Bakelite bangle. Tested and guaranteed to be Bakelite. This bracelet is unusual in that it has a black cord wrapped around a portion of the bangle. The bangle measures 3/8" wide, 7/16" thick, inside diameter 2 1/2", and 3 3/8" outside diameter.
