Early Matisse Enamel Bracelet Set

Here is an early 1950s colorful enamel on copper set bracelet set from Matisse. The bracelet measures 6-1/4" long, not including the clasp. Each individual enameled square measures 1-1/8" x 1". The clip earrings are 1" square. There is a small amount of wear of the enamel on the bracelet edges (where the squares connect with the roped copper links) expected with a bracelet set of this age. Similar bracelets and earrings can be seen on page 78 of the book Copper Art Jewelry by Matthew Burkholz and Linda Kaplan. A collectible vintage set to own.
